sm16G Wastegate flapper removal...how??

The vfaq really doesn't show how to remove the stock flapper. Or did I just miss it?

Anyway, how would you recommend that I go about removing the flapper? I need to port the hole out, then put the flapper back in. Thanks.

You need to grind the top of the flapper off that stick above the arm so it can slide off. You'd need to weld it back on or get a new one. You don't need to take the flapper off to port the hole. Just hold it open and then just port the hole and then close it and port behind that arm to allow it to open all the way.
