Turbo suggestions anyone?

Here's the deal. I'm about to buy a turbo but can't decide on which one to buy. I'm looking for something internally gated. I was considering the super 20g from HRC. Any comments or suggestions on other turbos. My goals for the car are low 13's for now and high 12's later on (with some tuning of course).

I know I need a feul pump now but what other mods do I have to get now to make it work. Also I'm getting egt gauge, clutch, and possibly a fmic (if my funds don't run out). If they do that'll be later. Any way any comments or suggestions would be appreciated Thanks.
 
The right way to do this is to get all of the supporting mods before you install the turbo. Bigger fuel injectors: 550 or 660 are a must. Personally I would never upgrade to a larger turbo and keep the stock SMIC. The reasoning is you will need to limit the amount of boost you can run. The turbo was the last thing I upgraded on my car.

Fast talon is right about the turbo upgrade... If your goal is lo 13's...just get a big 16g. I really think they are such awesome atreet turbos for price and performance. Ive seen low-mid 12's on a gst with 16g's a bunch of times. They are very cheap, have low thresholds, and hold lots of boost. 16g's are like learning turbo's, I think everyone should have one...LOL
 
Will I see any benefits now if I just change the turbo because the t-25 is at the end of it's rope right now. I do plan on bigger injectors but isn't that a bit much on the stock turbo. Also I read that with a big fmic you lose boost on the t-25. With a 16g I could afford a fmic though. I may want to go later that's why i was leaning toward a 20g. Also with a 20g couldn't I just keep the boost down for now and when I need it (after bigger injectors and a fmic) then i could turn it up.
 
Don't buy any turbos from HRC... they should be able to hit the high 12s low 13s.. but similar turbos (that are actually built well) will be good for 11s. If high 12s is all you're looking for I'd suggest a FP big 28 (no install kit needed) or a small 16g.. big 16gs are overrated & have never put down the same times as small 16gs.
