Injen Intake For Aftermarket BOV

The performance store I bought the intake from said that I should use this one because it is made specifically for use with an aftermarket bov, but the pictures I see of all the cars in the gallery have the aftermarket bov bolted right on to the regular injen intake, in the same spot the OEM one was. The intake tube that I have only has 3 small tube snorkels. How do I connect an aftermarket BOV to it? I think I need something extra.

Yes, the blow off valve bolts on to the UICP. They may have just been referring to the nice clean dump inlet on the injen for recirculation verses the stock intake with the long dump tube.

Any BOV should be good. I recommend the Greddy Type S

There is no dump...thats the problem. Theres no inlet to go from the BOV back to the intake...I just tried putting it on without connecting my BOV to the intake and it stalled. Please help!

That pipe is only for people who vent to the atmosphere. I would try to return it

Exactly, you also cannot run with the BOV just missing. That is leaving such a massive vacuum leak it's laughable. Hence the reason the car won't run. You can put the BOV on without the dump tube and the car will run (not correctly) enough to get you back to return this thing and get the right one.

I didn't try to run it without it, just without the dump connected, it worked but if i revved it it just lost all power and died. I am going to try to take it back tomorrow after I put on my Apexi N1. If I can't return it, I guess I will just have to get a BOV that dumps to the atmosphere. Is it bad to dump to the atmosphere? Significant loss of power?

injen sells a kit with the same intake but it has a tube for the bypass hose to connect, its 190 i saw it on the intake part of this very site,m although locatign a dealer is a diffeernt story.
