What about MSD 8.5mm wires...

Does anyone have any experience with these wires. It seems most posts talk about Magnecor of NGK and I was wondering how the MSD compare in quality.

Let me preface this by saying that I'm new here, but my experience with MSD wires in my Camaro is that they are great. They are great quality and decently priced. You can lay them on top of each other and they don't seem to arc (but still use a wire loom, $15 for the MSD 8.5mm wire separators in summit) I give them my recommendation, just (as with all plug wires) don't expect any noticable gain in performance unless you upgrade your ignition system to an HEI er oops wrong board

I just replaced my aging magnecores w/ MSDs & they seem to work great. They seal over the plugwell much better than the magnecores & won't let oil/water down the wells. Also they seem to fit onto the plug much tighter (kinda a PIA to take them off). one thing that I originally didn't like was the boots where they meet the coils.. they are 90deg instead of the standard straight boots.. this was a major PIA w/ the spoolinup FPR kinda in the way. They're much easier to install if you take the fuel return line loose.

I LOVE my MSD's. I did have one crack on me. All just called them up and they replaced it without much of a fuss. Would recommend.

i have the MSD's from Summit Racing. I luv them, no problems yet, and a good seal.
