for whatever reason. my fans do not come on properly.. ive tried everything i can and to no avail.. currently I have the fans wired to relays so they are always on when the car is on..

I need a GOOD temp probe and switch setup.. i tried one of those crappy ones from autozone where you slide a probe in yer radiator fins. but that thing is no good.. i need one i can tap into the thermostat..

any ideas?

idealy it will be a probe and relay setup.. adjustable.. whatever.

You shouldn't have to jigga rig anything on, a "98" spyder? You don't have to lie to impress people on here, we all know you have a 97. Your car is more jerry rigged than my 90' TSi, and is more of a maintenace hog than both of my cars combined. You coulda had a supra that doesnt over heat by now with all the money you've sunk into your 14 second beast.

just a thought....

If you look at the t-stat housing. There is a vac thermo sensor, remove It loop the vac lines is you still have them and thread the sensor into the t-stat housing.

so, do i get the probe, or the threaded sensor? just want to be sure.

Threaded sensor and if you have fans that draw over 20a (total) get the relay. You will burn the control module out, trust me i did
