What is better? more efficient? less hassle? better for daily driving? etc.

In all wich type of set-up is better overall.

I am leaning towards a full kit since the exhaust manifold usually flows more, but a bolt on is cheaper.

All comments, past experiences etc please let me know.

Thanks

I think its safe to say that if money is no object, then the full Garrett is going to be the best performing by a small margin. A ported 2g manifold flows really well and people are starting to post pretty fast times with the PTE housings. Daily driving should be any different but I can tell you that my engine bay temps are significantly higher with my SFP manifold than what they were with the Mitsu setups.

Go with the full Garrett set up. You get way more for your money and this will get you the most performance. You can't go wrong with this set up especially with our new manifolds.

For a 2.0 I'd just get the .63 PTE housing. Your not going to get much more from a full Garrett. For a bigger motor you might want to use a .82 housing so full Garrett there.

The PTE housing comes out to .55 not .63 by any stretch of the imagination. If you have the ability to go full Garrett then that type of setup will always be best.

Get everything ceramic coated. I even had my downpipe done to keep the under hood temps down. Like what Mike 99GSX said he was having crazy underhood temps. I found the ceramic coating really helped keep everything a lot cooler under the hood.

Thats a Turbonetics manifold the external WG sits on the manifold and not on an O2 housing. I dont have an O2 housing like a stock car has. I made my own full downpipe right from the back of the turbo, like what people call an 02 Eliminator downpipe type of thing. I just prefer to make stuff myself vs. buying somebody elses stuff. Nothing wrong with somebody else's stuff just I like to make my own then. People ask what type of exhaust I have? It's a "Jim-Tech" exhaust.
