Best Block Head Combo For 1g's

Just wondering what the best head and block combo was from tuners.

and to answer your question ...... the 2.4 liter block from the galant and the 1st generation ported head is becoming a popular combo

the best head is the 92.5 to 94 head, it has larger ports then the 89-91 head
the best block is probally the 4g64, but if u want a 4g63 combo u would want a 89-91 block with a 92-94 head

The 92.5-94 head does NOT have larger ports. It does have better coolant passages than the 90-92.5 head however.

Best block 90-92.5 6 bolt
Best head 92-5-94
Best cams 91-94 5speed turbo

So when i get me 1gen 90-91 it would be better to put a 1gen 7bolt head on instead of a 2gen 7bolt head?

Exactually. The 2g heads have smaller ports.
