im running 95% duty cycle on my hrc "625"cc injectors. its time to step up to something bigger. just wondering how many guys use the precision turbo injectors from dejon tool. they seem like a good bang for the buck but i was curious as to how they perform. also how do the ball/disc injectors perform compared to a pintle injector. im not sure what i want to buy as of yet so any opinions would be a help.
 
Those HRC 650's are overrated they don't flow anywhere neer 650cc. I forget the exact number, it's in the NABR tech archives, but it's temporarily down so I cant say exactly what they're supposed to flow.

I would step up to some 650cc or 680cc ball/disc injectors.
 
nobody asked this homey what turbo he had and how much boost he was running y0! unless you have a 20g or larger and are running mad boost then i find it hard to believe your car is tuned right y0! even 550s shouldn't run 95% duty cycle on a 20g with mad boost y0! just up yo fuel pressa and dial back the "625s" with yo afc y0!

I see you are running an AFC.

I don't know enough about those to know the max squirter you can run with that.

I'd go to atleast 720's. With good EMS 1000cc's in a heart beat. Low duty cycle is a good thing. You can deliver the same amount of fuel in a shorter peroid which helps when it comes to timing the event with flow and valve open period.
 
I would say skip the PTE injectors, from what I have read they are overated just like the HRC.

If you have the cash get denso or FIC, I have never heard a compaint about either brand.

If you ony have an afc I would say go with denso 660's they are a lot bigger than the hrc 625's so it should more than handle a super 16g.
 
Real 660's will work.

I don't go by vendor name for example "PTE Injectors"

Its really between BOSCH and Denso. But Lucas (bad spray pattern) and quite a few others make good injectors.

Using larger than the minimum needed does help deliver fuel in a narrower window at higher RPM.
 
i guess i should update my profile.my current set up is as follows: 60 trim to4e, web cam street, fmic, #6 feed and return lines, aeromotive reg., 2.5-3" int. piping, 3.25 " stainless exhaust, afc, gm maf trans., my next mod will be tb and sm intake mani. im running 20 -22 psi on pump gas. the injectors i currently have are maxed out. once completely tuned i will probaly run less boost but id like to have some more room to tune with so that is why i want to go bigger. what do you guys run??

Wow well I was going with 650 cc injectors over the 550's I ordered guess ill go with the 740cc's!
