Please only respond to this if you are ABSOLUTELY sure.

I am looking for a way that I can check for bent valves without having to take my head to a machine shop, as it was just rebuilt. If the valves are working properly, will liquid be able to bypass them? If they are bent, will they leak?

If this is not a good method, do any of you know of one that is?

I poured gasoline into the chambers (the correct term, I think....) and at least one of the valves leaked a little bit. I'm going to take the head to my machinist today, and have him look over EVERYTHING, I'm done screwing around.
