is there different versions og eagle rods for 2G

I bought eagle rods for my 2G and my mechanic tells me that he cannot put my stock pistons on them cause the stock pistons use press fit pins but the rods are meant for free floating pins.

So is there a way to use my stock 2G pistons on Eagle rods or is there two different versions of those rods - one for aftermarket pistons and one for stock pistons?

you should be able to do some machining to gt hte bushed rods to fit....not sure why you would do this though. You might want to look into selling your pistons and getting some forged floaters or something as it might work out to be close to the same price
