Yes I searched. I cannot decide. Both will be about $900 with internal gates. The PTE seems to be tried and true, but I am hearing very good things about the AGP. Here's the specs:
AGP
-49 lb/min compressor
-50 trim T04E compressor
-76 trim T31 turbine wheel
-3700-3800 spool (think this si true?)
-450 or so HP

PTE
-50 trim Compressor Trim
-69 Turbine Trim(T31)
-3900-4000 spool
-450 or so HP

I am FWD, so what would you guys do if it was YOU buying it?

Oh yea, will I need an external dump O2? If so, i'll prolly sell this hacked up 2G O2 and get a nice fabbed up one.

Yes, my mods are limited, but the t-25 is seeing its end. I bought a 16g, but RED91TSIAWD ripped me off and I got a blown turbo. Sorry had to make a plug there!
 
Can't go wrong with AGP.

There MUST be a reason why they are not jus re-selling off the shelf PTE stuff right? *HINT*HINT*

I got to meet Ben from AGP this weekend, and he's as nice in person as he is online. Great customer service. Good turbo's too. :D
 
Coo. Wish I coulda gone, but the g/f's mom was having cancer surgery, so I had to fly down to FL. She promised that WE would go next year. I'll call AGP up and see what they can tell me.
 
go with the agp. they run the wastegate different so you can clock the housing whichever way you need it. very neat. im happy with mine.

peregrine.. any fitment issues with the RS on your 1990? Engine mount, water pipe..etc?

i had to *ding* the water pipe to fit it. barely a dent. the compressor housing is huge so i didnt mind a bit:) it was as eay as pie to put this turbo on. i can R&R this turbo in 1/2 hour no problem. with the way agp does the wastegate you can clock the housing any way you want so theres no motor mount problems at all.
