Just curious im goin to install a ported 2g o2 housing on my 2g gst... is the only way to install this by taking off the exhaust manifold... if so should i just wait tell i buy a ported exhaust manifld??? If you dont need to take the exhaust manifold off can u give me some advice on how to get the o2 housing off... i just cant get to all the bolts.

Thanks

-Take off your lower heatshield & o2 sensor.
-Take off downpipe
-Unbolt and remove dipstick
-Unbolt o2 sensor from turbo

installation is reverse. This was with my turbo and exhaust manifold installed on the car. It just might take some creativity to get to some of the bolts for the o2 housing.

This was on a AWD if that makes a difference.

I swapped my O2 housing a month ago and I wasn't able to do it without taking the manifold off. I fiddled with it for an hour before deciding to remove the manifold which took all of 15 minutes. It will make the O2 housing removal a lot easier and probably save you some headaches.

It wouldn't be so hard if you have access to a lift :) Otherwise, it's a real pain to try and maneuver to get all the bolts off the O2 housing.
