The last couple of days my car has been idleing and running crapy so I have been trying to figure the problem out and discovered I have a small hairline crack in the middle of the top of my 1g exaust, I can not feel or hear any air leaking out but I can see a discoloration around the crack so I guess some air would be leaking out.
What I need to know is should I buy a 2g or an EVO manifold now, of course I will port whatever I get before install, but witch one is better and easier to install. Could I be loosing power from this crack I have now?

Not sure if the crack would make it idle funny, but I am no expert either. The 2G you are going to have to trim on the right side of the manifold to get to fit right. I would just buy a 2G and get the $hit ported out of it. Find one on the trader for around 100 bux and get it ported. Don't waste your bux on the Evo III.
