Problem with blow-through configurations?

The idea of blow-through setups never seemed right to me.So I was just thinking, since hotwire MAF's are not directional and there are intake pulses or reversions,normally buffered by the turbo or longer lengths of intake piping,I'd say the MAF would be considerably less accurate at lower boost pressures(when the reversions are not overcome by boost pressure)leading to a rich mixture.Less accurate because the reversions would be read as well as the actual airflow.
 
Maybe because they are running richer than they thought.In my experience most try to lean every thing out too much(stoich or leaner)

I doubt you're getting measurable reversions, or at least none that are making it back out of the plenum, which probably has enough volume to "lose" them. It doesn't seem to be a problem, and in the real world is apparently working much better than draw-through.
