Ive searched n searched n searched some more and im still pretty clue less on how to install the Greddy Type S... Can someone please tell me how and not be an a$$ about it and tell me i need to search n stuff.. Im just gettin kinda anxious to put it on.. And yes i do have an adapter.. i just dont know bout the hoses... Do i just connect the small hose on the top of the Stock BOV to the top of the Greddy or what??? im totallt confused.. i know the small nipple on the bottom is left open. Im just wondering bout the top one thats all

Since you have the adapter.Just replace your factory with the Type S and use the top nipple on the Type S.Don'y forget to recirculate your Type S back into the intake snorkel. That's it

Ok, thats all i needed to hear.. Thanks Alot man i Appreciate it:thumb:

I also have the type s ... where should the springb set at at higher boost levels such as 17 / 18 psi. hard or soft? does it matter even? Is the screw just for sound or also for performance ... how many threads do you guys have showing? Thanks.

I have about 6 threads showing on mine........It works real good...I set mine using 3rd gear pulls....I have no comp surge or flutter..I run my boost at 15 psi.You can try the 6 threads and go from there.I tried to set it the way your suppose to...Which is have the car idling and you turn the set screw all the way soft...You should hear it leaking air...You turn the set screw slowly until the air stops leaking out....That's it..This might work on other cars like Supra's,Rx7's,ext....It didn't work for me...So i did what i said above with the gear pulls.

Well... mine doesn't leak. My 1g bov that I used to have did, hence the reason I switched to a GReddy type-s. I have about three threads showing on my type-s bov and I'm running 20 to 21 psi of boost with my Big28, and it holds boost so much better than my 1g bov did. What did you use to stop the leaks on you and your friends GReddy type-s bov's?

mine didnt leak boost either.. it would hold vacum pressure.. test yours with a vacum pump and i bet it wont hold vacum.

Well... that's all I'm really worried about is if it's leaking boost or not, not vaccume. My vaccume seems to be fine. Is it boost or vaccume that you are referring to? When I'm at idle I see around 18 to 16 IN HG and or vaccume, if that is indeed what your talking about, I'm not to sure. If you are, from my experience that's normal vaccume. Anyways... how or what did you use to stop the leak or leaks that you and your friends had? Sorry Orso I'm not trying to hijack your thread. Thanks!!
