i currently have a 97 spyder gst w/ a cone filter, uicp, and 1g bov. i dont feel like doing little mods to the car. i want to build up a 6 bolt motor from top to bottom, and slap a 20g turbo on it, and drop it in the car.

i just think it would be awesome to do that...that way i could do everything the right way, and not rush nething. but heres where i have the problem...

where could i find a good 6 bolt...what kinda prices am i looking at...and if nebody else has done this, how much money did they spend over all???

any help would be appreciated, not really lookin for negative comments, but if its constructive than give em to me :)

thnx
Mike

I don't want to talk to you here or on AIM :p

No actually just call up places like DSS, RRE...so on so forth and they can get you 6 bolts...if your not stuck on getting a 6-bolt w/20g and only getting 400 or so hp and you might want 500-650 then call up Magnus and get a built 4g64 block and then put something like a T4 56trim on it or some other large garret...that set-up is very streetable as well and both are going to require that you rebuild the tranny to handle the power so...if I was you I'd just go for more hp.

A '97 turbo 2.0 can handle a 20g all day long. No need for a 6-bolt unless it crankwalks or something.
