I just wanted to say thaks to every one that helped me trouble shoot my shifting problem.

Not sure as to what it was exactly, but the problems is gone.

I blead the clutch and adjusted it, changed gear lube and tranny fluid and that did the trick.

I have one problem left. For some reason the second spark plug wire boot (from the cam gears) keeps popping out. With the old MSD's the would pop almost all the way out, and with the new MSD's it pops up a little less than a 1/4". When i go to push the boot down it makes a sound like air was sealed inside and forced out. I don't know what it could be; the car runs great no loss of power, bogg, or anything. Some how could the compression be comming up through the spark plug hole? If so then what's wrong with the engine?

you could check and make sure the plug is torqued down to 10-15 ft.lbs. if it is then try putting in new plugs? Thats what I would do anyway

Well, I got the new MSD's put in and the #2 plug was still rising about a 1/4". This afternoon I went and picked up some plugs and put them in. I drove the car home for 3 miles with the # 2 plug all the way out ... man she ran like shit. Well it took me 10 min to get home; I pulled the plug out and droped it back in and tightened it and snaped the boot back in, and took it for a drive a few min ago. It ran fine until I went WOT. The motor sounded like it was missing, so I drove home and popped the hood only to find the plug snug with no gap. So now I'm thinking it's the plugs. I picked up a set of ZEX plugs; never used them before, but I was told they would be a good set for my car. I guess I'll take them back tomorrow and order a set of Denso's.

Has anyone else used the ZEX plugs? If so, how did your car run?

No. DSMs like NGKs. Stick with them.

Yeah that's what i thought. I heard that Auto Zone is starting to carry Denso plugs, so I'll probably pick up a set today.

turbo cars are far too hard on plugs for me to buy the expensive iridiums.

I just go with the good ole tried and true cheap bp7's.

Well Monarch had Iridium NGK's for $12.99 and the Denso Iridiums for $11.99. Denso's look cheaper to me and from what I've heard there supposed to be better. That comes out to be $49.00 for the plugs with shipping.

Woah, thats way too much for just plugs. I was looking for the "best" plugs I could buy a month ago and was looking into Iridiums, I ended up spending $10 on NGK coppers at Napa and my car has never pulled harder.
