Just recieved it today. This is AGPs new line of bolt on turbos utilizing the PTE custom cast turbine housings. Once again, these ARE NOT PTE turbos. AGP uses the cast housings, which they machine for the aplication. They then build the turbos in house.

Mine is the first RS65 made. It uses the GT40 56trim in a TO4E compressor cover. The turbine is the bad ass 76trim T350(not stage V) in the PTE housing. I measured the turbine today and came up with 62mm exducer and 71mm inducer(major) It will be going on after the S.O. Cant wait to see how it performs. This is my second turbo from AGP, and certainly not my last. Ben reminded me that I oredered this turbo almost one year to the day of my first turbo from them. As it turns out, it is also AGPs 1 year anniversary.

PSHHH. Is that what he calls it? Sure if you consider building turbos and BS-ing to guys like you and I on the phone WORK!:p J/K No, Ben and Kevin are very dedicated to what they do. I have called Ben on several occasions late at night, only to find out he is still at the shop.

Those specs sound very similiar precisions SCM61; should perform very well. Is AGP using a BB CHRA or standard bearing like PTE?

Im assuming BB because of the "GT40"

Actually it's a standard 360 degree bearing according to AGP's website. http://www.agpturbo.com/cseries.htm

But now I'm confused, what happened to the L-Series Turbos? It's been a while since I've been on their site, they apperantly made some changes to their product lineup. Interesting stuff!

why did you switch?

"Im assuming BB because of the "GT40"

No. Many people have to understand that "GT" or "Ballistics", does not mean ball bearing.

"why did you switch?"

Why not? I like trying new turbos. The L2R is still ont he car and runs great. Just wanted to switch up and see how this combo works.

"Where your old turbo!?! i want it!! =)"

The L2R is coming off this week. I think its sold, but PM me.

I need your job;), I surely cant afford to change turbo's just to see how another on works. Good luck with it, My PTE 50 is all the turbo i will ever need. However my goals i think are different then yours:thumb:

congrats.
