Head question

What needs to be done to put a 2 head onto a 1g block? or does anyting need to be done? I am asking because i found a good deal on a 2g head but wanted to know if i would be able to put it onto my 1g engine without doing anything major preferable nothing at all. please let me know thanks. Also would there be any performance gain or loose by doing this.

why do you want to do that ? 2g head have smaller ports. 1g head will flow and breathe much better than a 2g head. it isnt a simple bolt on a now that cause it takes some type of modification to put a 1g head on a 2g block which is a good upgrade. your idea is nothing but a downgrade. still with a 1g.

thanks for the reply i was just wondering cause i found a good deal on one and i need one so i thought that this might work but since it isnt worth it i won't buy it.
