I posted this in the newbie forum as I think this is more of that type of question, but I didn't get a response and was hoping you folks here could help me out.

When one swaps to a non-DSM turbo, what must one do to mate up the exhaust and intake tubes to the new turbo? Is fabrication/bending usually required, or are most kits designed to get the turbo to line up? It seems the intake side would be easy (silicone tubes and clamps) but what about the downpipe?
