How much psi is the Greddy Type-S good for?

I've searched the threads but couldn't find anything. When I had C16 on the dyno, I tried to turn it up to 24lbs. It would bearly touch 24 and then go back to 22lbs. Is the BOV not strong enough to hold 24lbs? I'm running a Green and a Tial 40mm mounted on the O2 dumping to atm. If the Type-S doesn't suit my needs, what BOV will work?

I've tested mine to not leak up to about 27 psi. I've heard they will do at least 30. Adjustment screw all the way out except for enough thread to seal the hole, teflon tape on the screw and only the large (top) nipple used.

Do a pressure test and find out for sure what's leaking on yours before you start changing parts.

I've done the intake leak test and everything was fine. I was just assuming it was either the BOV or the WG spring. BTW, what is the purpose of the nipple at the back of the Type-S?

I'd look elsewhere then.

I don't remember what it does exactly, but it creates a small boost leak that dumps back into the BOV return line so most people don't use it. Not a standard boost leak where it leaks counted air, but reduces turbo efficiency a bit.

its a vent for the internal diaphram

Mine held 24-25psi no problem....not sure how much it could have gone but its a great BOV if you ask me
