ECU reset = power loss on high end
does that make sense?
let me explain myself...
since the stock ECU normally "self-teaches" itself depending on air intake and fuel maps, having my mods (downpipe, exhaust, intercooler piping, fmic, etc.) for about a year, would "teach" the ECU to shoot more fuel on the top end and less fuel on the low end....(since 3in. downpipe and exhaust = less back pressure but more high end free flowing exhaust gases)
now that my ECU is reset, it seems that i regained a lot of low-end torque but lost a lot of high end power,
does that make sense? or am i pulling stuff out of my butt? seems to make sense to me... -_- i just hope thats the explanation for my car losing a lot of high end power recently....
how long does it take the stock ECU to relearn?
sorry if that was confusing
