well more problems today with the swap. can someone explain to me why i need to put a 1g cam angle sensor on my 2g when it already has one. all it is doing is relocating it to the opposite side. i am still using a 2g head so why would i need a 1g cam angle sensor. i have looked at magnus and road race but i am still confused in why my 2g cam angle sensor wont work. any info would be much apreciated.

by the way the swap may get rid of crank walk, but i think im thrown a rod in the stress department.

ok got that problem fixed and now another one. i have the balanced shafts removed and now i need to know what goes on the back of the crank timing sprocket. there was a gear for the balance shaft belt. but now that will be gone. do u need to buy anything or just use that balance shaft gear or can u just make a spacer for it. somebody please help me. like i said. this is a big pain in the ass. also do i need a different crank timing gear being this is a 6bolt block.

ive already looked at that. are u talking about the sprocket on the crank behind the crank timing sprocket that is used for the balance shaft belt.

sorry i see now. they just left that pulley on there for the balance shaft. i see what u mean. now i just have to get one of those because mine is messed up. being mine is a 6 bolt on a 2g head do i need to get a 1g of both of those sprockets or are they the same between 1g and 2g. crankwalked chewed both of those sprockets up.

does anybody know the exact part number for those two sprockets. i know the part number on the crank timing sprocket but i cant find the balance shafts belt sprocket part number. it is the sprocket that sits behind the crank sprocket. not the one that goes on the balance shafts. i cant find it on caps any where.

ok i found them on caps and the part numbers are different on the 1g and the 2g. i have a 1g block and a 2g head. so does anyone know for sure which one i should use or will either one work. just wandering being the part numbers are different. i think to be safe i should just go with the 1g being that is what my bottom end is. let me know if anyone knows.

if you have a 1G block then use 1G sprockets even tho i think they are the same on the 2G. all that skinny balance sprocket does is take up space so that the Wide/fat sprocket lines up with the timing belt.

no belt goes on the skinny one, but you MUST keep it in place to take up the space.

btw on the 1g CAS.. its becuz you rewire that to to take the place of both the 2g Cam Angle Sensor and 2g Crank Angle Sensor.. it does the job of both and also allows for setting base timing which you cant do with a 2g CAS
