Question about full-functional hoods for 89-94 DSMs.

I have no problem with the little bump on our hoods or anything but I don't see why nobody makes a ram air (Like the new Celicas) hood? I figured it would relieve a lot of the engine temp heat and it would definately look clean. The 2gs get them, so why not the 1gs?

hmmm...never seen those before. But doesnt anyone make a hood with something like that already on it instead of a doit yourself kinda thing. I'd be a little nervous about putting something like that on by myself.

-They have 2 version of the scoop, fiber glass & carbon fiber, I'm sure any body shop can install that. I had seen most people just rivet the scoop above the hood and install it backward above the turbo so it'll suck the hot air up & out. or you can cut an over size hole(jig-saw), and bondo the scoop on from under neath, either way, part of the hood reinforcement needed to be remove.
-I was planning of putting one on, I plan to do autoX in the near future, a local autoX offical told me that will make the car look more modifoded so I might get bump into to the "modifided class", so I stop.
