hello, In a few weeks, my Greddy T3turbo will be installed, how much bar can the turbo and engine handle??? they say al least 2.0 bar , is that correct???

2 bar is 28.8 psi and without the required supporting mods you have a pretty good chance of blowing your motor up.

your profile does not list any modifications.
do you have an MBC (manual boost controller)?
aftermarket blowoff valve? ( stock one only holds to about 12.5 psi before leaking)
Front mount intercooler?
bigger injectors?
feul management ( sAFC)
downpipe?exhaust?
aftermarket boost gauge?

yess, have a greddy blow off valve, greddy evo exhaust, front mount intercooler from greddy( the big one), waste gate, no manual boost controller

You're gonna also need the Greddy injectors, Greddy fuel pump, Greddy FPR, Greddy AFC, Greddy Datalogger, and especially the Greddy decal!!:thumb:

First of all, T3's come in about 438654859 different variaties, and you need to tell us which one you have. 2 BAR is a lot of boost.

Second of all, you need a whole lot of fuel and a whole lot of fuel control before you can even think about turning the boost up that much.

Dont be an ass, just because he is buying a well known name doesnt mean hes dumb. You really need to give us more on the turbo like the guy above said. And from the sounds of it you have alot to learn before you even attempt to crank that boost up.

Maybe they meant 2.0 absolute bars. To get gauge boosts it is 1.0 bar (by subtracting atmosphere pressure of 1.0 bar). I think the advise was to boost at least 1.0 gauge bar. That is 14.7 psig (psi gauge). If this is the case, that was good advise, assuming you have upgraded your fuel.
