This is going to be a 2 part question for any engine experts out there.
Subject: The 6 cyl turbo in a 1986 Plymouth Laser

Questions:
Is this engine in the DSM Classification?
Is there any reason that this engine could not be installed in a 92 Plym. Laser RS N/T

Thanks for any and all replies

Do you have any more info on the 6 cyl? I can't imagine it would fit, but I don't know anything about that engine.

An 86 Laser is not the same 'Laser' as in the DSM line. 2 completely different cars.

So is it my understanding that this engine cannot be used?

i wouldnt even recommend doing it, think of how many aftermarket parts are out there for an 86 laser:confused:

Actually it could work, the engine being refered to is the motor found in the Shelby Daytona, It I belive was a turbocharged v6.

I haven't seen one of those in a while!
