Well here is the problem my car has 136,xxx miles on it and started knocking .I droped the oil pan and found the rod berings for 2 and 3 were starting to spin. The berings had not spun bad but the dammage was done metal particles every where . I cleened the bottom of the block with brake wash to get the particles out and lightly cleaned the crank jernals on 2 and 3 with light emery cloth . Put new berings in checked clearance on 2,3 on those two i went .0001 over with the berings. It startes and runs fine .
The question is should I build the 7 bolt or try to find a good 6 bolt block and use my 2g head and intake. The only problem is my wife is pissed off about me spending money on this car so in order to save my ass it need to be cheep rebuild , so which one will be cheeper the 7 bolt to build or finding na 6 bolt and building it .
