Turbo help.....Whats left to check

Ok I still can't find the problem. I got a compression test done and it read in the normal (160 or somthing I can't remember) anyway I still acn't get above 5psi (acording to my stock boost guage) just kidding my auto meter guage. I thought my turbo might be blown, but theres no white smoke and I can hear it boosting. I just don't know how loud or quite it should be. So my question is what sould I do know. I heard something about a pressure test or something. I also hear a exhaust leak or somthing like that. I'm soo lost and I want to get it running soon cus I get my licence back tomarrow. (2 months without it is hell)



Well any way I need help bad I'm so I need a plan to follow

ok lets start like this...

1. Do you hear a whistling all the time? even @ idle you woudl be able to hear an exhaust leak , sounds like a whistle, but i doubt that would cause you to boost very low. but just a thought.

2. You say you hear it boosting? you sure thats not just ur intake sucking air in?

3. Check your boost gauge line... those mech boost gauge lines get kinked pretty easy... just another thought

4. If all other stuff seems normal...send ur turbo to psi or rre and have them rebuild ur turbo

You should do a pressure check first of all. goto vfaq and build their pressure tester and use it.
