Power supply for Fuel Pump...

Well about 6 months ago my 92 Talon TSi FWD just died when I was driving it. I thought it was the fuel pump...so finally today I swapped it out with another pump, still didn't work.

So I tested the power wire to the fuel pump and it turns out there's no power going to the Fuel pump. I followed the wire as far as I could under the car till it went into the back and everything looked fine, nor could I find a fuse for the pump.

If anyone could tell me where the fuse is for the fuel pump or any other reason that it may not be getting power.

Nobody has any guesses as to why the Pump isn't getting any power????

I hate electrical stuff so I took it to a shop to get it fixed.

They said that to wires were corroded through and they just had to replace them.

Not sure what wires or where they were or anything. Sorry I can't be more help

There's a fuel pump rewire mod at VFAQ.com because the stock wires aren't that great. Just do it. It's cheap and easy.

im currently having the same problem and the rewitre didnt work for me i am going to test me fuel pump relay it is behind the stereo above the computer (ecu). good luck and test every thing before you buy a part you dont need.

Run the power from the cig. lighter. Just tap into the power that goes to the cig. lighter and wallah, you have power at the pump. As long as you don't run any thing like a TV off the cig. lighter at the same time, you'll be just fine. Trust me.
