prolly left some stuff out...

I want a streetable cam, my buddy had some 262 web cams and he loved them...

so, what yall think?

if ya can gimme some ideas what kinda HP gains to expec and some prices, pro's, con's you know, stuff like that.

i love my webcams as well :) no driveability/idle issues here with the webs, nor did i have to "dial them in" with cam gears... they would be a good choice, or an HK$ 264/272 set-up if you have the extra money to spend... 272/272 might be a little too much for a 16g, unless you plan on stepping up later on... keep in mind, RRE picked up 39hp on a 16g w/ supporting mods with the webcams street grind... webs fit us spyders well :p

yeah but just imgine how much you will pick up with hks 272/272 cams. maybe 50 hp to the wheels maybe more ? who knows until someone dyno's that biaotch !!!

It does sound like cams would be a good mod for you. If you're going to buy new, I would suggest the 272/272 combo. If you're buying used, just get whatever you can, it's guaranteed to be beter either way.

The problem with the Webcams is that they appear to be inconsistient. Some people have great things to say about them, but some have to sel them and get HKS cams because the Webs made their car run like butt. That's not a risk I am personally willing to take.

Also, do you mean that you crushed your BOV so that it doesn't start to open until 22 in/hg of vacuum? That's like, way to much. Mine is crushed so that it stays shut until around 19 in/hg, and I regret it.

I'd say go with a straight up 264/264 HKS combo with a small 16g if you're planning on keeping it. It has been proven on tests that with that small a turbo, going with the 264/272 cams will actually worsten your horsepower over going with a 264/264. Then only time you need to get a 264/272 combo is with a 20g or bigger turbo.
