So i bought the Evo shift forks from Conicelli about a month ago.... since im almost done building the hybrid, i figured id put them in. So i take my tranny apart and come to find out that one of the shift forks isnt right. The radius of the steel one is too small and doesnt fit. Anyone have any idea of what i did wrong or what they sent wrong or how im an idiot and overlooked something. Anyways, id rather try and get this back together and well if i have to go back to stock shift forks  i guess i gotta do what i gotta do to make the car move :)

The steel forks only fit the "small hub" style trannys. 90-91 basically. You can convert yours if you wanted to use the small hub 3/4. The 1/2 should be the one that fit, and the 3/4 was too small to fit over the slider.

I upgraded it all while I was in there putting the steel forks in.

finally an answer, thanks a lot man, another tranny question... is there anything else worth "converting" while the tranny is apart... say from a 1991?

You want the 3rd gear, 4th gear, and the hub slider assembly. Get the matching shiftrails to make it work. You need the 5th/reverse rail also. I put mine back together using the stock one and didn't have 5th or reverse.
