My head has bad valve seals, so I need to replace it. A freind of mine has a head off of his 95 (only 15,000 miles on head).
My question is can I use this head with the cam angle sensor I have in my car?
Will I heed to drill any holes for the sensor?

Thank you for time.

The 95 head would have to be machined in order to fit the sensor to it. Just splice the CAS wires and use the 95 head and sensor. Then spark plug wires 1 and 4 would have to be swap with each other and it should work just fine.

i'm not sure if the 95's intake cam is already drilled and tapped for the 98 cas but, if it's not, just put your 98 intake cam in the 95 head...also check and see if your car came with the revised lifters or not...if it did, go ahead and swap those out too...it will require NO machine work to do this...

The '95 cam is not tapped for the cam sensor however since he mentioned swapping in the 98 cams he should be all set. The '95 head has provisions (bolt holes) for the 97+ sensor.
