So if i want higher compression and i don't want to buy 2gen pistons or the evo pistons, can i shave my head, this is sorta a honda vw thing that goes on. I didn't know if anyone had ever done this on their dsm. will it work and how much can i raise the compression with this.

That's correct. Shaving your head is a bad way to do things. You start to mess with the overall geometry of the rotating assembly. You will be better off just doing it the right way and swapping the pistons.

By shaving the head too much, you will mess up timing as stated above. Mitsu has specs on how much you can deck the head.
