I was wondering, if taking the stock flood lights off the 1g cars, will increase the airflow to the intercooler all that much? I started doing it today, and unfortunantly couldnt finish before it got dark. I started this because I read in the vfaq that it would increase air flow, but looking through the spot where my flood light once was, it didnt seem like itd help all that much. Either way the lights come off, I think theyre ugly, but I was just wonderin.

It's suppose to help airflow some. I wouldn't expect to feel any difference at all though. If you really want to get more airflow to the intercooler, I'd suggest an electric fan mounted to it, or the home-made water injection system on vfaq.
