Why am i missing a hose?

I saw some pictures online on connecting boost gauges and saw that on my car the line running from the intake mani. to the drivers side solinoid is missing instead the hose is routed straight to the fuel rail. is this ok or should i connect it the right way.

just dont get into any boost and youll be fine!!!!!!! j/k. its totally fine. no worries. that hose goes to the fuel pressure solenoid which raises fuel pressure when its (the motor) cold. fyi
