Symptoms:
I step on the gas part throttle, turbo spools, but, especially with the windows down, I hear a very audible whooshing sound, but I can't be sure if it is the spool, just the airflow, or a leak.
At part throttle say from .5 bar, the boost slowly tapers off, while the car stays around 3000 rpms.
Part throttle response is odd, seems like I need more throttle then should be necessary.
Some times while part throttle accelerating, there is like a blip where the tach jumps up to like 3500 from 3000 and I hear this vroom, its almost like all possible leaks were suddenly sealed for a second very weird.
At full throttle though the car seems fine, full 1 bar till about 6500.
Dyagnosis: Possible Boost Leak??
I have the dejon ic pipes, and I think I may have a leak at the connectors, especially where the transition form the turbo outlet to the ic pipe is, cause there is a change in diameter. So am I right about this? Should I go and order some proper silicon hose sections?
Thanks.
