right now im tearing my motor apart for a build, but ive got the agp 60-1 kit with the big 4" inlet and 2.5" outlet housing and it looks like its gonna be tough to fit a regular air filter on there.

for the time i drove my car with the kit before i started pulling the motor (about a week) i just put a mesh screen from a screen door on there and hose clamped it on. that worked ok for then but ide rather have something that can filter a little better on there once everything is back together.

what the problem is, is the radiator hose is really close so it would have to either be a really short filter, like the hks mushroom (which i still dont think will work) or have an intake pipe coming off it.

my other idea was to buy an hks foam element and sandwhich it between a couple layers off the screen door mesh. thats my best idea so far...anyone have any ideas?

thanx

do you know which specifically will work? it looks like this one might but im not sure..its their 4" pipe for use with vpc

That is the same one I use but I flipped it and stuck a 90 degree elbow on it now my air filter is where my fog light used to be OMG

I am using the gm mas translator though.
If you have the stock mas you might have to do a little hacking. I don't see why you would be using a turbo with a 4inch inlet with the mas before it anyway.

That will do the trick then. I recommend routing it like I did if you don't experience alot of rain. :thumb:

yeah its basically a track car that only will get driven on the street for cruise in's or setup races...

i like the filter coming out the foglight hole:) that would look pretty cool, i dont have windshield wipers or anything so no rain for me:D
