hey guys, just wondering how recirculating the BOV back into the intake help performance wise. basically, can you contrast venting to the atmosphere and recirculating the BOV.

thanks. alex

This has been beat to death...brought back to life....and beat to death again. Search for -blow off valve-, -BOV-, and -venting-.

It's not so much a performance thing as a drivability issue. The air that is "vented" by the BOV is metered air. It has been counted by the MAS, so you can't just let it leak out and not use it. That F's up everything as far as fuel delivery goes.

In other words, just do a search. It really should be a non-issue. Venting is stupid on a stock MAS.
