90 Throttlebody, Different?

Pulled my tb to do the fiav blockoff but it doesn't look like the one that's on the vfaq. Anyone with a 90 model had the same experiance?

Ya 90's are different.

Fuel rails are too.

TPS mounting/placement is why.

90 = bastard year.

I just removed the coolant lines or kinda bypassed them without figuring out the way to block off the FAIV. Not sure of the improvement, I do know that when I tried to set the idle it would idle fine untill the intake manifold warmed up the TB...i decided it was more of a dud mod.

DSMU4ia- Dont forget the 90 got the crappy exhaust cam..... yes it is the bastard year...

Can you explain more about the crappy exhaust cam? What are exactly the drawbacks of it? Im getting this weird whistling sort of noise coming from the cam gears
