The perfect sound

This may sound really ###, but what mods do you think i would need to make my car sound as crisp and clean as the eclipse in F&F. Because ### or not it sounds so nice. Help me out.

Well considering that movies are on a budget that car probly just hase some nice spark plug wires and a lot of chrome under the hood. Judging by the stickers i would say he has greddy or apex exhuast.

Acctually your close. It was from a supercharged CRX with a B18C owned by Greg Leone who used to work at ProDrive USA (the guys who make the drive shafts and spools etc) It was using a Greddy BOV which is why it sounds so faimiliar to many of us.

I was at his house in LA last year and was looking at his RHD Integra he built. He layed his own carbon fiber hood and skirts in his garage, guys crazy what he does. The supercharger setup in his CRX is insane.

No it's not a Jacksons Racing style it's Vortech which mounts away from the motor. You can acctually intercool these and run BOV's just like a turbo setup. Sorta the same thing that guys use on the street mustangs where you see the blower sitting away from the intake manifold.


On the hondas it uses that bar that runs across the front of the motor which the shaft inside of it that spins the charger... Remember seeing the advertising from Vortec for the Civic SI kit that added 117hp and was intercooled? Thats the kit.

If I remember corecctly, on the prototype kit, that bar was actually the axle bearing assemblies from a go cart. Something about honda engines turning the charger in the wrong direction when it's mounted with the accesory belts so it had to be mounted on the tranny side.
I know, this has nothing to do with the original question. I'm just extremely bored.

It actually has more to do with the amount of room and the fact that the intake is on that side. Vortech knew they were going to offer an after cooler for it. So they planned ahead.
As far as the go kart parts go... I have no idea. But have you seen some of those things run? I'm not talking about the yard carts. The ones that do the oval racing.
