crazy intercooler idea

im gonna be getting a starion intercooler pretty soon.........i have this crazy idea.........i was thinking about using both the stock and starion
intercooler...........how i'm gonna do that is run the intercooler pipes
from the starion to the stock by welding to more outlets on the stock intercooler..........then just leaving the stock pipes in the engine bay
routed the same way............would this help cooling or will it be insufficient...........because im thinking if i have cool air from the starion
running to the stock and also the stock intercooler will still be cooling air too...that'll be twice the cool air...what do you guys think

You will also be pushing air through a lot of stuff. It's not just surface area for heat exchange, it's getting the air to go through without getting too much pressure drop. A big, well designed, FMIC will do both things well: flow lots of air and cool that air.
