Check this out. www.importpoweronline.com I work at a high performance diesel shop (I know, oxymoron, but you would be surprised, we have a 7900 lb Powerstroke running low 13 in the 1320) We have been putting propane systems on these trucks for a while. You get better fuel mileage, about 100 whp, cleaner oil, and cleaner plugs. A small amout of propane will go a long way. Propane comes out of the bottle at -60 deg, so intake temp is drastically reduced. From what I have read, IPO system is set to open at about 8psi, and increase with boost. My only problem is they want a little more than what I want to spend. I think if I can find a spot for the regulator and a tank, I might just give this a shot. Propane+water injection+50 shot=walking? You never know.....

I know the guy who owns importpoweronline. he has adapted a propane kit for deisel trucks for turbo cars. He has his kit on his fullybuilt 3000GT VR-4. They are great kits.

Hey everybody

This is Import Power Online. Just thought I would chime in. We have tried to reply to every board we are showing up on which has been difficult. We are showing up on Turbo Ford, Typhoon-Syclone, Pontiac Supercharged, Honda-Acura Turbo/SCd and others. We have also pre sold to members on each of those boards. It is truly a One kit fits all system.

We have had better than 101 octane gas results. Even after running 2 hours under WOT in the 115+ AZ afternoon sun to gather datalogs the system was still keeping knock down to 0 and a max of 4 at 22psi. Turning off the propane at that point yeilded 24+ knock sums...OUCH......

The Propane systems are going to start shipping next week. We are very excited as are many enthusiasts that are tired of paying $4+/gallon for 100+ octane fuel, me included

Will propane work on gas engines, no oxygen, no burn? I thought it was "nos" for diesel motors.
ie gas motors burn fuel, diesel motors explode fuel.

I know that there are cars that run on natural gas. I'm not sure what kind of modifications need to be done(obviously some kind of new fuel cell). The nice thing I have heard about these is that engine disassembly and engine parts keep extremely clean as there is not nearly as much carbon buildup!!
