Swansea,
HEy i am wondering if it is difficutl and worth putting a 16g in a 2n talon tsi cause i got a deal ona brand new 16g never used so i was wondering if i could have some info please it would be greatly appreciated thanks

The 16g is a great turbo upgrade for a 2G DSM. It is also a very popular turbo on this site and with many DSMers is what I have noticed. It is not a difficult install, you will just need the 2G install kit. Be prepared to make some runs to Auto Zone or Pep Boys or something like that unless you have a lot of tool and such in your garage. I made a lot of runs to the parts store cause i wasnt prepared  and needed to get stuff.

But when all is said and done, I think the 16g is a great turbo (even though i run a 20G i know many ppl with the 16g ;))

Most of the major vendors carry the 2g install kit, check here for the links to those sites.

One important thing to keep in mind is to make sure you have the supporting mods to go along with the turbo. I don't see any mods listed in your profile so I woud suggest a fuel pump and exhaust as a minimum if you don't already have these items, then add a datalogger to make sure things are running ok. You could probably get away without the pump on a 2g since they run rich however at higher boost, 20 psi you will be running out of fuel.

Good Luck

20?!?! On a stock pump you are risking it by running 14 PSI, even if its rewired.

I'm not sure about that. Every car and every situtation is different but for example a friend of mine on a 14b ran OVER 20 psi on stock fuel pump and didn't have any problems (2g car). You start havnig issues during colder weather, no fuel control (leaning out helps) or a combination of both.
