I have the haynes and it has nothing on putting a new engine in. Im sure the chiltons is the same but I could be wrong and if I am some one please tell me. Also vtec only says how to pull and I have all these wires that I have no clue where they go so I need instructions on what they are and how to install them.

chiltons is not going to tell you how to do a 1g in a 2g swap. Check w/magnus and RRE, some of the things i believe that have to be done are to change the cam position sensor, remove a motor mount and move a sensor, but check thoses sites there is a ton of info. you may also want to check w/FFW connection, if you don't allready have the engine it looks like they would get a 1g all ready to drop into a 2g.

i should of looked closer at your original post. i thought you were doing a swap, sorry.
The 1990-1998 chiltons book shows you how to rebuild your engine, check out manualcd.com it has some of the manuals for free and it is the same things that are in the chiltons. Although you could probley figure it out by the chiltons.

I have the Chilton's and it shows step-by-step on engine install and removal........to find out what wires go where you will have to look in a different section of the chilton's. There is a section for engine and engine overhaul and there is a section for engine electrical.
