I recently tried to change my fuel filter, got the top line off with no problem, but the bottom line gave me enough trouble to the point I gave up. Does anyone have any tips on an easy way to do this to avoid breaking my lines?

Also I smell gas, and I dont know if its in my head but it seems that I burn gas faster than usually, any ideas?

(The smell started after I put an cone K&N filter on, probably nothing to do with it right)

Thanks for the help

yeah I just did mine, but a 14mm tube wrench, put a 19 mm wrench or whatever on the filter to hold it and turn the tube wrench or flare nut to get it off. mine was a pita tooo

Yes the Fuel Filter is a PITA. But once you get it off and run water thru it you will see why it was worth it.
