EVO III Manifold???

Just starting to mod my car and am considering buying one. I have a couple of questions though before I buy it. Can I buy a header instead of the Exhaust Mani??? Just wondering what I need if so. Also is it a good buy? In your guys opinion, will I feel a diffrence in power or is it more of a better then to just have? Thanks in advance guys.

Headers are only for N/A cars. You need a new exhaust manifold because 1G's are known to crack.

actualy they make headers for turbo cars as well, they just call them tubular manifolds instead of headers

Are you asking about the EVO III manifold? I bought one for my car to replace my cracked 1G manifold. The EVO is stronger like the 2G but flows a little more and has a larger collector. Cheaper then a ported 2G.

the evo manifold is a nice piece. i got one for my car. i compared it to a ported 2g mani & it was bigger stock after you grind away the step by the collector. i say go for it.

Thanks for al your responces guys. When I get paid I will pick one up. One more question... can a cracked mani cause boost leak??? Cause Im only at 8.5 to 9 psi with my boost controller. I should be able to get it stonger but dont want to hurt anything. Thanks again for your imput.

Not a boost leak but an exhaust leak. I can cause low boost becasue the exhaust gasses that are suppossed to be spinning the Turbine wheel are escaping before they get to the turbo.
