ok first of all i just wanna say that im not hatin on eclipses, talons, or any thing. but i think ive decided to go to the 3000gt vr-4. who can argue with twin turbo. found lots on ebay selling for real cheap, some cheaper than a gst, (what i was gonna get). just wanted to know any personal oppinions if i should stick with eclipse gst or 3000gt vr-4.

by the way, my uncles got a vr-4 and ive rode with him before, its freakin tight man.:thumb:

any opinions would be helpful

I am by no means an expert on 3kgt's, but I heard their pretty heavy and have pretty shitty tranny's(worse than ours). I guess it's all about personal preference. I chose my talon because it was cheap to get and cheap to mod. I don't know about 3kgt's but I'd assume that the parts are more expensive than our cars. Check out www.3si.org . It's a pretty good 3000gt/stealth board.

I like them. I was planning on getting one until I found out how often they break down with just a few mods... and how expensive they are to maintain. Then I found out that the x in gsx meant awd, so I bought an eclipse because it ended up being way way less expensive (purchase price, repairs, insurance, etc...)

If it looks like a Ferrari, is almost as expensive as a Ferrari to insure, gets chicks like a Ferrari, But still not quite a Ferrari, you may want to go with something that is comparably fast, appealing to the eye, and much cheaper to mod, drive , and maintain. Just my $ .02

I bought a Auto. 98GSX 2 weeks ago. I test drove a 97GS-t. If your looking for a smoother ride, Ex. off the line the awd is the stuff. It all depends on what your looking for. Would that be whatever the fad is? j/p :D
