2g's with 14b turbo- need some help

Hello,
i was told my car has a 14b on it, it does pull harder than regular eclipses but i want to be sure, how can i be sure?? does anyone have a picture of their 14b on a 2g? mine says TD05H and has an elbow going down by turbonetics.

Alright now to performance:
1)How much performance can i get out of this turbo?(1/4, HP)
2)what IC pipes did you get for it?

A friend of mine had a 14b on his 2g. With exhaust, fuel pump, afc, race gas, 1g bov, lower and upper IC pipe. He was able to muster a 13.0 @ 105. He only ran this turbo at the track a few times then moved on to a 16g.

As for a IC pipe, I would stick to shops with a good reputation and no waiting times. Road Race Engineering and Buschur Racing come to mind. If you are on a budget, Dave Brode makes some excellent pipes as well.

1.) If you want to know if you have a 14b or 16G, pull the intake piping off of the compressor housing. If you have single stacked blades, you have a 14b. If you have double-stacked blades, it's a 16g.
2.) Have pics, but can't access them right now.
3.) People have run low 12's on this turbo. 13's is very common. It's possible with the right supporting mods and tuing to achieve up to 330HP with this turbo.
4.) I just have the lower intercooler piping for now.

I'm pushing about 16PSi on mine right now (see mods). Boost is MUCH more linear than the T-25, and doesn't fall off at 5000RPM. In fact, that's where this thing really starts to feel nice. I reach full boost by 2500RPM. Starts to spool by 1900RPM.

If the Turbo outlet is on top of the turbo you have a 14b. if it's under the turbo you have a T-25.
 
Good point....

If you have a T-25 the outlet should be on the bottom of the turbo facing the passenger side wheel, that's the way they come.


If, you have a 14b that was rotated the outlet will be on the bottom of the turbo in an angle facing the passenger seat, or on the side of the turbo facing the ground
