Why Can't A Jdm Cyclone Replace My 1.8

im tryin to replace my 1.8 with a JDM cyclone engine but i read somewhere that you CANNOT swap from a NT to a JDM CYCLONE, wtf?!? im mad as #@%#@%#@%#@%! why cant this work1? ive heard that i can swap with a 4g63 but why not the cyclone...same thang right...if u know anything let me know, 1K

You can swap any engine into your car you want man. What people mean if they're saying it can't be done is that it's going to cost you a lot of time, and money to do so.

Honestly, I would estimate a cost of over 3000 dollars when all said and done, and countless weeks of downtime, especially if you're doing this yourself, and inexperienced, which you sound to be.

Trust me man, if you're really looking for a turbocharged car, it would be easier, cheaper, and quicker to just sell yours, and buy one turboed from the factory.

Sorry to be such a bummer, but that's how it is.

you can get engine and AWD tranny for 1699.00 at www.infinitemotorsports.net and then you could go to your local junk yard and get the rest of the parts you need....but like enigma man said it could cost you lots of money........if i were you i just sell you 1.8 and get an AWD turbo it will be cheaper than a swap into you 1.8
