When you have an AWD car emissions tested, they can't use their dyno. So they do a two-speed idle test.
Now, since turbocharged cars physically can't build any boost in neutral without a load, then the emissions would be the same as another 2.0 four with a 8.5:1 comp. ratio. And that can't be much. My point is: I think that because I have AWD, I can get away with a gutted cat and not see higher emissions. Even a gutted 3" cat would probably not even be much higher, right? Or am I wrong?
